If you are in a crisis, having suicidal thoughts, feeling very distressed and generally feeling that you can’t keep yourself safe right now, there is support available for you.

Firstly, please contact you GP and ask for an emergency appointment. If you’re GP is closed and you urgently need help then please call the NHS on 111 (If in England) or 0845 46 47 (If in Wales).

You can also go to your nearest Accident and Emergency department (A&E) where a mental health practitioner will be able to assess you and give you the appropriate help that you require. If the situation is life-threatening, please either call 999 and ask for an ambulance to take you to A&E, or ask someone to you to to A&E themselves.
